Wellness Review of the Thai Hamman at Amatara Wellness Resort
I have been lucky enough to experience the first Hamman in Thailand not once but twice. Between 105-165 minutes long, it is an indulgent luxury spa experience not to be missed when visiting Amatara in Phuket and even better with someone who you can enjoy and chat with, though you’ll want to be comfortable in the barely there undergarments.
Your treatment includes:
Traditional dry sauna for 5 minutes
Cooling walk through rain-shower
Aromatic Thai Herbal steam, you’ll visit before and after the black soap treatment
100% Natural Moroccan Black Soap massage and skin softening on the hot marble bed
Deep skin exfoliation with authentic Hammam Kessa glove to scrub away any dead skin
Therapeutic thermal mud treatment
Himalayan salt cave therapy (bliss)
Optional (but highly recommended) Relaxation Signature of Amatara massage
I was getting a bit overheated whilst on the marble table and waiting for the black soap to do it’s magic which made me enjoy the cooling ice treatment even more.
